§ 130.02 DISCHARGING FIREARMS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, "FIREARM" means any weapon which will expel a projectile by the action of an explosive.
   (B)   Except as hereinafter provided, it shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge a firearm within the city limits. This section shall not apply to any peace officer who discharges a firearm in the performance of his duties or to any person who discharges a firearm while lawfully defending person or property.
   (C)   Any person who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $100 and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which the violation occurs or continues.
