§ 110.05 DATE AND DURATION OF LICENSE.
   (A)   Occupational licenses are to be issued at the city office for the city's fiscal year, which shall be July 1 until the following June 30. Any person, business, trade, or profession already established and in operation prior to July must secure a license by that date. Any such person, partnership, or otherwise that does not have this license posted in his or their place of business on July 1 of any new fiscal year shall secure such license immediately, and shall pay a penalty of 50% over the cost of the license prior to July 1.
   (B)   Any business, trade, or profession established after July 1 of any fiscal year shall secure and post the license not later than 30 days from the date of beginning of the new business. Each such business shall be subjected to the same penalty for late payment as those businesses established on July 1. All occupational licenses shall be issued to expire with the close of business on June 30 of each and any fiscal year.
   (C)   In no event shall a license be granted to any business or any person for a longer time than one year. (KRS 92.310)
