§ 91.45 CULVERT REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   For streets and driveway drainage, any existing driveways having a culvert in place shall be the responsibility of the city to maintain pursuant to applicable City Code. Minimum length of said culvert shall be 20 feet long, with diameter dimension being according to the depth of the ditch for proper water flow. Furthermore, the city shall be responsible for maintenance of cross drains.
   (B)   Any new or existing driveways requiring new culverts for proper drainage shall be purchased by the property owner and installed by the city; however, all maintenance and cleaning shall be the responsibility of said property owner as hereinafter set forth. The city shall provide the name of vendors offering culverts and culvert servicing that comply with specifications required by the city.
   (C)   The cost to install new culverts shall be reimbursed to the city by the property owner based upon the following formula: current contract labor plus materials plus equipment costs.
   (D)   In the event that maintenance is required on a culvert due to damage caused by city-related work, the city shall be responsible for its repair and/or replacement at no charge to the property owner per a review and approval by the City Council.
