(A) The speed limit of all motor vehicles over and upon all streets and highways within the city which are maintained by the state shall be the same as the speed limits which are posted by the state.
(B) The speed limit of all motor vehicles over and upon all streets and highways within the city, which are within a designated school zone area as may be on a state-maintained highway, shall be 20 miles per hour during the hours of 7:30 a.m. through 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. through 3:30 p.m.
(C) The speed limit of all motor vehicles over and upon all other streets and highways within the city shall be 15 miles per hour except U.S. 60 (Main Street), Highway 145, and Highway 266, where the speed limit shall be 35 miles per hour where designated by the state.
(D) Any person violating this section or failing to stop or yield at intersections so marked shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each offense.
