(A) Beginning September 5, 2013, a separate water meter shall be required for each user if the Corydon Wastewater Collection System.
(B) Existing situations where one (1) meter serves multiple users at the same property may continue, subject to the following conditions:
(1) The owner of the property shall be the proper billing party and shall be responsible for and shall pay for all sewer charges associated with that property.
(2) Only at such time as a separate water meter is installed and operational for each user at the property may the sewer billing be placed in the names of the individual users.
(3) Charges shall be made at the effective sewer rates based upon water usage as calculated from the shared meter. A minimum monthly sewer charge shall be charged for each user connected to the shared water meter.
(C) The City Clerk is directed to begin billing all accounts affected by this section to the property owner as reflected on the applicable water service billings for the subject property.
