(A) The members of the Board of Trustees shall be elected from the municipality at large unless the registered voters of the municipality have voted to elect its Board members by wards.
(B) The members of the Board of Trustees shall be elected at the state-wide general election as provided in Neb. Rev. Stat. 17-202, and each four years thereafter. Except as provided in such section, the term of each Trustee shall be four years or until his or her successor is elected and qualified.
(C) Any person may be a Trustee who is a citizen of the United States, resides in the village, and is a registered voter.
