(a) Council does hereby authorize the following full time positions for the Cortland City Fire Department:
(1) There shall be one (1) Fire Chief.
(2) There may be up to three (3) Fire Captains.
(3) There may be up to seven (7) Fire/EMS Personnel.
(b) These authorized full time employment positions may be filled only as the budget of the Cortland City Fire Department permits.
