(a) Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 2981.13(C)(1) there was created and is hereby maintained within the Special Revenue Fund of the City, a Law Enforcement Trust Fund for the purpose of receiving fines and forfeitures from appropriate cases to be used by the Cortland Police Department for specific law enforcement programs.
(b) Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 2925.03(F)(1) and 2925.42(B) there was created and is hereby maintained within the Special Revenue Fund of the City, the Drug Law Enforcement Fund for the purpose of receiving fines and forfeitures from appropriate cases to be used by the Cortland Police Department for specific law enforcement programs.
(c) Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 4511.19(G)(5)(a) and related sections there was created and is hereby maintained within the Special Revenue Fund of the City, the Law Enforcement and Education Fund. All moneys paid into this account have been and shall continue to be used by the Police Department to pay those expenses and costs incurred in the enforcement of Ohio R.C. 4511.19 (OVI) or a substantially similar municipal ordinance and for educating the public about the laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and the danger of operating of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and other information relating to the operation of a motor vehicle and the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
