139.01 POWERS AND DUTIES OF SERVICE DIRECTOR.

   (a)    A position of Service Director is hereby established.

   (b)    The Service Director shall have the responsibility for the supervision of the construction, improvement and maintenance of all public works, buildings, grounds, cemeteries, parks, roads, streets and other public places of the Municipality.

   (c)    The Service Director shall have charge of and shall supervise the maintenance of all Municipal property and equipment and the storage of all materials and supplies.

   (d)    The Service Director shall perform such other duties as Council may require through ordinance or the adoption of a job description.

   (e)    The Service Director shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to approval by Council.

   (f)    The salary and all other terms of employment of the Service Director shall be set by Council.
