(a) Council does hereby authorize the Mayor at his discretion to distribute the master keys to the Administration Building offices, the Fire Department offices, and the Police Department office and facilities to the respective Administrators, to wit; the Mayor; the Fire Chief; the Police Chief and the Service Director.
(b) The Mayor shall require that the recipient of any master keys be responsible for its safe keeping and return to the Mayor upon his resignation, retirement or removal from office and each department Administrator shall not without prior written consent distribute to any departmental employee such master key so entrusted to the department Administrator.
(c) The Mayor shall distribute upon request a key to the Main Entry, North Entry, Council Chambers and Caucus Area to each Councilperson so requesting the keys and return to the Mayor upon his resignation, retirement, or removal from office.
