(a) A permit may be required to maintain, store or handle liquids, gasses, solids, materials or articles which produce conditions hazardous to life or property or to install equipment used in connection with such activities wherever specified in the adopted Cortland Fire Prevention Code or Ohio Fire Code.
(b) It shall be the sole responsibility of the Cortland Fire Chief to determine the manner by which permits may be required, permit fees to be collected and the duration of the approved permits.
(c) In the event that permits and permit fees are required, the Cortland Fire Chief shall prepare, maintain and promulgate the categories as well as the fees to be collected in the form of an appendix attached to the adopted Cortland Fire Prevention Code. The Permit Fee Appendix may be revised as needed and shall be filed annually in the Office of the Mayor, the Clerk of Council and in the Office of the Fire Chief.
(d) Permit Fee Appendix A denoting categories and permit fees shall be attached to original Ordinance 0-25-14 and revised as required herein.
