(a) Before any sewer is accepted as a part of the Municipal sewer system, the developer, contractor, or other parties constructing the sewer shall furnish to the Municipality a maintenance surety bond in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the estimated cost of improvement. This bond shall run for a period of two years and shall be subject to approval by the Law Director. The minimum bond required shall be not less than two thousand dollars ($2,000).
(b) The bond is not refundable until the television report is accepted by the Service Director. (Ord. 0-26-1978. Passed 7-17-78.)
