(A) Every person, firm, corporation or user connected to the municipal water system shall pay a monthly fee based upon the amount of water consumed and as recorded through the water meter for the connection.
(B) A current list of water rates shall be maintained on record in the office of the Town Clerk and shall be available to any water customer upon request.
(C) A monthly bill shall be generated each month for the water consumed during the past billing period. Water consumption is based on the reading of the water meter at each service location. Water meters are typically read during the last week of each month, with consumption calculated as the difference between the current meter reading and the reading of the prior month.
(D) The monthly bill shall be generated on the last business day of each month. For outstanding balances equal to or greater than $10 a past due charge shall be assessed during the monthly billing process. In the event of technical problems with the billing system, bills shall be generated on the earliest business day.
(E) Any meter larger than two inches, and used in an industrial capacity, shall be assessed a "meter fee" in addition to the monthly water consumption charge.
(F) All fees and charges shall be reviewed each year by the Board of Commissioners. The current water rate schedule, fees, and charges is hereby incorporated by reference.
