(A) Tree limbs, shrubbery cuttings and other refuse will be collected and removed by the town according to the following terms and conditions.
(1) Tree limbs less than one inch in diameter, and shrubbery cuttings shall be placed in trash cans or neatly piled at roadside by the property owners or their tenants for easy collection.
(2) No tree trunks or stumps will be collected by the town.
(3) Tree limbs that have fallen as a result of natural occurrences such as high winds, lightning, snow, ice or other “acts of God” shall be collected based upon the following requirements:
(a) Tree limbs must be cut into sections not exceeding six feet in length; and
(b) Tree limbs must not exceed six inches in diameter.
(B) No special or bulk collections shall be made from vacant lots, nor shall any large rocks, appliances or other heavy objects shall be collected by the town.
HEAVY OBJECTS
shall be determined by the Director of Public Works in his or her sole discretion.
(C) No building materials or other waste resulting from structures under construction or completed, renovation or demolition shall be collected by the town.
(D) No waste resulting from the clearing of any lot shall be collected by the town.
(E) The property owner or his or her tenant shall place items to be collected in neat piles at the curbside or roadside for easy loading by the town employees. The piles shall not impede sight or movement of vehicular traffic on roads or streets.
