§ 153.01  ROAD NAMING AND NUMBERING CRITERIA.
   All roads, both public and private, shall be named and have road name signs installed. All houses, buildings, and structures shall be numbered in accordance with Chapter 151.

§ 153.02  PUBLIC ROAD NAMES.
   Public street and road names shall be established by the Town Board of Commissioners, as has been the practice for years.

§ 153.03  NAMING PRIVATE ROADS.
   When an unnamed private road is detected, the Town Administrator will assign a temporary designation to the road, and then mail a road-naming petition to the predominant property owner and a notice of this action to all adjoining property owners. The notice shall identify the road section to be named, a suggested name if practicable, allow 14 days for the return of the petition with a majority of the property owners agreeing to the name or a substitute name. After the allotted time, and whether the petition is returned or not, the Town Board will name the road and direct that notice of the new name be sent to the property owners listed in the original petition.
