(A) No outdoor athletic event in the town shall continue beyond 11:00 p.m. any night during th week. Athletic event means the normal definition given to the term and specification includes softball, baseball, football, soccer, tennis and other similar outdoor sport activities.
(B) Any law officer of the town is hereby directed and given authority to cut off the lights at 11:00 p.m. at the athletic field, if the same has not been done voluntarily and to secure the light switch, or box, in order to carry out the intent and provisions of this section.
