A. Issuance: The city finance officer shall issue an alcoholic beverage retailer's license to any person to whom a retail license has been issued under the Montana alcoholic beverage code, when application is made upon a form to be provided by the city finance officer and the required fee paid. Such license shall be in substantially the same form as a license or permit issued to such applicant for such business, at such location, by the state department of revenue, and the same shall refer to this chapter.
B. Endorsement: The city finance officer shall endorse upon each application, the accompanying documents, if any, in his office, and shall keep an appropriate record thereof, which shall show the date filed, the name of the applicant, the character and location of the business, and an appropriate reference to the file number.
