1-4-1: JURISDICTION:

   A.   Penalties And Fines: The city has jurisdiction to impose penalties and fines within its corporate limits. (1975 Code § 1-4-1)

   B.   Arrests: The city council has power to make regulations authorizing the police of the city to make arrests of persons charged with crime:

      1.   Within the limits of the city;

      2.   Within five (5) miles thereof; and

      3.   Along the line of water supply of the city. (2015 Code)
