§ 71.12 YIELD INTERSECTIONS.
   The intersections described in Chapter 75, Schedule III, are designated as yield intersections. When appropriate signs conforming to the requirements of this traffic code are erected at the entrance to such intersections, the operator of a vehicle approaching any of the streets where a sign has been erected shall slow down and yield the right- of-way to any vehicle on the cross street, except when directed by a police officer to do otherwise.
