175.01 COMMISSION ESTABLISHED; MEMBERS; DUTIES.
   (a)   There is hereby established the Conneaut Tree Commission which shall consist of not less than five (5) nor more than twelve (12) members appointed by the City Manager.
   (b)   Members of the Tree Commission shall serve without compensation, and shall serve for a term of six years from the date of appointment. In the event that a member shall resign, the City Manager may appoint another to fill his unexpired term.
   (c)   The Commission shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
      (1)   To study and recommend to Council a plan for the planting and maintenance of trees on public property.
      (2)   To study and recommend to Council a plan for developing a City Tree Nursery for the purpose of raising seedlings to plant on public property.
      (3)   To condemn trees on public or private property which may cause hazards to public health or safety.
