(a) In accordance with the provisions of the Charter for the City of Conneaut, the Conneaut Planning Commission shall be comprised of seven (7) members who shall be electors of the City of Conneaut and who shall be appointed by the City Manager for terms of six (6) years. Members now serving on the Planning Commission shall serve out their existing terms.
(b) The Planning Commission shall have the authority and responsibilities granted under the Charter, the Ohio Revised Code and City ordinances except as contrary to the Charter.
