There is also created within the Public Works Department a Cemetery Division, which shall be supervised by the Cemetery Sexton, who shall be appointed by the City Manager and shall have responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all City cemeteries. Such Cemetery Sexton shall report to the Public Works Director, perform the function of the Public Works Director in his absence, and perform such other supervisory tasks as directed by the Public Works Director.
