If an owner or applicant fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter, then the City Manager or is designee is authorized to take such action as necessary either temporarily or permanently to remedy any adverse conditions created, at the expense of the owner. The City Manager is authorized to deduct the costs of the remedy or remedies from the bond. Should the cost of the remedy exceed the deposit amount, the City Manager shall submit bills for the excess cost to the owner. Should the owner fail to pay the cost of the remedy, the City Manager shall certify the amount due to the Director of Finance who shall have such due amount placed on the tax duplicate. (Ord. 01-17.
