No person shall demolish a building or structure without first obtaining a permit from the City Manager's office. Nothing in this ordinance shall be intended to exclude requirements of other governmental agencies from obtaining demolition permits or their criteria for demolishing buildings. Anyone seeking to demolish a building or structure should also consult with Ashtabula County Building Department and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
