(a) The City Manager or his designee is authorized to modify the Declaration of Public Health Nuisance conditions or remove the Declaration of Public Health Nuisance. Such modifications or removal shall only occur after documentation from a qualified environmental or cleaning firm stating that the health and safety risks, including those to neighbors and potential dwelling occupants, are sufficiently abated or corrected to allow safe occupancy of the dwelling.
(b) Nothing herein shall prevent the City Manager or his designee from pursuing any remedy available pursuant to any other Chapter or Section of these Codified Ordinances, including but not limited to the demolition of a building or structure.
