(a) The City does hereby adopt, for enforcement purposes, the most current Federal Motor Carrier’s Safety Regulations, including any technical references, revisions, amendments or references incorporated therein, this being Title 49, Parts 383, and 390-397 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
(b) When any provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with the regulations adopted in subsection (a) above, the provision which establishes the higher standard for the promotion and protection of the safety and welfare of the public shall prevail.
