(a) Council hereby creates the position of Public Service Director within the Public Service Department, replacing the former position of Public Works Director.
(b) The position of Public Service Director is outside of the Collective Bargaining Unit pursuant to Ohio R.C. Chapter 4117.
(c) The position of Public Service Director shall not be considered a classified civil service position and the position is subject to the provisions of Section 157.04.
(d) The maximum annual salary for this position is $54,893.00.
(e) No person shall be appointed to the position of Public Service Director unless he or she has satisfactorily completed a medical examination including, but not limited to, drug testing.
