(a) Signs announcing the sale shall be limited to one on-premises sign, and two off- premises signs. The location of the two off-premises signs shall be at the discretion of the person holding the sale. Signs may be put up the night before the first day of the sale and must be taken down immediately after the final day of the sale. Such signs shall be no larger than three square feet in area, and shall not be illuminated or animated.
(b) No signs shall be placed on the public right of way, on utility poles, or on trees located in the public right of way.
(c) Permitted signs shall be displayed only during the sale and shall promptly be removed after the sale.
