§ 866.08  SUSPENSION AND REVOCATION OF VEHICLE LICENSE.
Whenever a licensee fails to make a reasonable or consistent effort to operate his or her taxicab or taxicabs for a period of 60 days, the Chief of Police may either suspend or revoke such license after giving the licensee an opportunity to show cause why his or her license should not be suspended or revoked. Such hearing shall be held by the Chief within ten days after such 60-day period, and the licensee shall be notified of the time and place of such hearing by registered mail. Upon failure of the licensee to show cause, the Chief shall revoke or suspend the license, whichever shall best serve the interests of the community, and such revocation or suspension shall become effective upon notice served upon such licensee.
