A permit application fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for installations in the municipality and two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for premises outside the municipality, but serviced by agreement, shall be required. Existing installations shall be subject to the requirements of this section, including those pertaining to permits. However, no permit application fee will be charged to an existing alarm holder. Permit renewals shall be without charge, except that if more than five false alarms were reported from the premises in the past year, the following permit renewal fee applies to that permit holder for the next year.
