(a) The municipality hereby adopts by reference, as if fully rewritten herein, the provisions of Ohio R.C. 3929.86(C) and (D) for the express purpose of authorizing the procedure set forth therein with respect to the payment of fire loss claims.
(b) The Manager is hereby designated as the officer of the municipality authorized to carry out the duties of the municipality as the same are set forth in Ohio R.C. 3929.86(C) and (D).
(c) The Manager is hereby authorized to file a certified copy of this section for public record with the Ohio Superintendent of Insurance, as required by Ohio R.C. 3929.86(C), and to take any additional steps as may be necessary to comply with Ohio R.C. 3929.86(C) and (D).
