§ 206.02 REAL PROPERTY.
   (a)   Purchase. On the written recommendation of the Manager that the municipality requires real estate or an interest therein for any municipal purpose, which real estate can be acquired, Council may by ordinance determine the necessity of acquiring such real estate or interest therein, approve the proposed purchase, and authorize the Manager to make such purchase and to expend the necessary funds therefor.
   (b)   Sale. On the written recommendation of the Manager that real estate, or any interest therein, owned by the municipality is no longer needed for any municipal purpose, Council may by ordinance determine that such real estate, or interest therein, is no longer necessary for any municipal purpose and may approve the proposed sale and authorize the Manager to make such sale and to execute the necessary documents to consummate the sale.
   (c)   Demolition. Upon the written recommendation of the Manager, Council may by ordinance determine that any building owned by the municipality is no longer needed for any municipal purpose and may authorize the demolition and/or sale of any such building or part thereof, and Council may by motion determine the method by which the building or part thereof shall be sold.
