(a) No person shall operate a bicycle upon a sidewalk within a commercially zoned district, upon a sidewalk within a shopping center or upon a sidewalk where signs are erected prohibiting such operation.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 408.01.

(c) At no time shall a person under the age of 11 years operate a bicycle on a street.
