(a) There is hereby established a special fund to be known as the Fire Levy Fund in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 5705.12 subject to the approval of and in the manner prescribed by the Auditor of the State of Ohio, which approval shall be forthwith obtained by the City Manager.
(b) The monies derived from this Fund shall be used to pay for such payment for wages and operating expenses of the Volunteer Fire Department.
(c) Interest derived from any Fund investments shall be used for the purposes set forth in division (b) above.
