§ 1474.01 PERMIT REQUIRED; BOND.
   No person shall move any building upon any public street or public ground without first having obtained a permit therefor from the Manager, or in his or her absence, the Secretary to the Manager. No such permit shall be granted until the party applying therefor has given a bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) with good and sufficient securities to be approved by the Manager, or in his or her absence, the Secretary to the Manager, conditioned that such party will pay any and all damages which may happen to any tree, pavement, street or sidewalk or to any public building or structure and all damages resulting to any person whatsoever, which may be caused by the carelessness or negligence of the workers while engaged in the moving of any building in the public ways of the municipality and conditioned also that such party so licensed will save and indemnify and keep harmless the municipality against all liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses which may in any way accrue against the municipality in consequence of the granting of such permit, and will in all things strictly comply with the conditions of the permit.
