§ 1470.06 USE AS TEMPORARY RESIDENCES.
If a municipal residence is destroyed or substantially damaged by fire, flood or some other similar cause, the owner of such residence may place a mobile home or manufactured home upon his or her property for use as a temporary dwelling pending the reconstruction of his or her residence. Such mobile home or manufactured home shall be removed from such property within six months of the date upon which such owner’s residence was destroyed or substantially damaged, unless the Planning Commission deems it appropriate, following a hearing upon such owner’s application for an extension of such six-month time limitation, to grant an extension of such limitation to a date certain. Any such application shall be filed with the Manager within such six months, and the hearing upon such application shall be held at the next regularly scheduled Commission meeting following the filing of such application.
