§ 1464.02  PERMIT REQUIRED FROM FIRE CHIEF; INSPECTION; VIOLATIONS.
No house, commercial building or structure of any kind shall be erected, constructed, altered, repaired or moved upon the premises without a written permit from the Fire Chief.  The Chief may require a plan of the proposed work, together with a statement of the materials to be used.  The Chief shall inspect all structures during construction to see that the provisions of this chapter are complied with.  When the Chief believes that this chapter is being violated, he or she may order the work stopped until the conditions in violation have been remedied.  The permit required to be obtained from the Fire Chief shall be in such form as he or she so decides.  No fee shall be charged for this permit.
