§ 1298.11 EXEMPTION FOR MUNICIPAL-OWNED PROPERTY.
   Wireless communication antennas and/or towers located on municipal-owned property, by permission of the Municipal Council, shall be exempt from the regulations set forth in this chapter and any other provisions of the Zoning Code. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing provisions of this section, if a wireless communication tower is to be located on municipal-owned property, the tower in all cases shall be subject to a special exception public hearing by the Planning Commission, notice of which hearing shall be given in the same manner as provided in § 1298.03(c) of this chapter, and provided further that the application and proposed type of construction and standards of the proposal tower shall comply with the requirements as set forth in Chapter 1298 of the Codified Ordinances.
