The purpose of C-3 Districts is to provide for a variety of retail, service and administrative establishments which are required to serve a large trading area population. C-3 Districts are also intended to accommodate retail trade establishments in the community which cannot be practically provided for in a neighborhood commercial development. C-3 Districts shall also provide limited apartment developments in the central core of the community to enhance the viability of the central business area and encourage its redevelopment on an economic basis.
