In order to promote public safety, health and general welfare, to regulate residential, commercial, industrial and other land uses by location, to establish minimum lot and yard requirements, to ensure adequate open space, and to establish maximum building heights, the territory of the municipality is hereby divided into zoning districts. All regulations in this Zoning Code are uniform for each building, structure and/or use within each zoning district.
