(a) The rates charged for electric service provided by the municipality shall be as set forth in the Fee Schedules (Exhibits A through G) attached to Ordinance 17-O-2933.
(b) The aforesaid rates shall become effective for the electricity distributed during the billing cycle that includes September 1, 2014 and billable on October 1, 2014 and shall become effective for the electricity distributed during the billing cycle that includes June 1, 2017 and billable on July 1, 2017 and shall become effective for the electricity distributed during the billing cycle that includes October 1, 2017 and billable on November 1, 2017.
(c) The monthly billing statements sent to each such consumer by the municipality shall advise the consumer that the aforesaid monthly electric charges shall be paid within 15 days of the billing date appearing on such statement in order to avoid a penalty amounting to 10% of the total bill, which penalty is hereby authorized and approved, and such penalty shall be plainly noted on each such monthly billing statement.
(d) The Manager is authorized to take whatever steps may be necessary to carry out the intent and purpose of this section, including, but not limited to, the alteration or modification of monthly billing statements.
