§ 94.013 REVIEW OF BUILDING PLANS AND CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
   (A)   Except as otherwise determined by the Fire Chief or Fire Marshal, the plans submitted to the Building Department in support of an application for a building permit to construct any Class 1 building shall also be submitted to the Fire Department for review.
   (B)   When any plans are submitted under § 94.013(A), the Fire Chief or Fire Marshal shall cause a review of them within five days of receipt and determine whether such plans conform to the rules and regulations of the State of Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission and the Columbia City Fire Department Ordinance, listed in this chapter. The review process shall not be construed as an approval of any violation of the provisions of this chapter or of other ordinances of the city, or of rules and regulations of the State of Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission.
