§ 32.096 EXPENSES AND COSTS.
   (A)   The expenses, costs, and administration of the Department shall be borne in such a way that the city shall bear 25% of the administrative costs of the Executive Director, Assistant Director, Building Inspector, and such other staff as may be employed by the Department. The county shall be responsible to pay 75% of those costs. Those costs exclude the direct costs enumerated in §§ 32.093 and 32.094.
   (B)   The Clerk of Columbia City shall make quarterly payments to the Whitley County Auditor's Office to cover the city's share of the expenses for the Department. The Whitley County Auditor's Office shall, in turn, be solely responsible for issuing payroll checks, paying expenses, vouchers, and other necessary costs associated with the administration of the Department.
   (C)   A uniform schedule of fees and charges for permits, applications, petitions, inspections, and other planning and/or inspection matters shall be adopted by the city and county. All such fees and charges shall be collected by the Planning Department and remitted to the County Auditor, to be used towards defraying the costs and expenses of the Planning Department.
