The chief of police may make or prescribe such rules and regulations that do not conflict with the current bargaining unit agreement, all other written city policies, and ordinances as the chief shall deem advisable. Such rules must be approved by the city council prior to execution and shall be bonding on all such members of the police department. Such rules and regulations may cover, besides the conduct of the members, rules for the better efficiency of the department. (Ord. 0-15-001, 3-24-2015)
