(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the taxicab business, unless he or she has first obtained a taxicab franchise from the municipality and has a currently effective privilege license. Each taxicab shall be required to have the licensee’s name and the cab number painted on both sides in letters and numerals readable from a distance of 20 feet.
(B) A copy of the privilege tax receipt issued by the Town shall be conspicuously displayed in each cab at all times.
