These are the general requirements for conduct during a charitable solicitation event:
(A) The control and supervision of the solicitation will be under responsible and reliable persons;
(B) The applicant has not engaged in any fraudulent transaction or enterprise;
(C) The solicitation is prompted solely by a desire to finance the charitable cause described by the applicant;
(D) A charitable solicitor shall not occupy a fixed location on any public sidewalk or street. There shall be no interference with or obstruction of movement of any pedestrian or vehicle by any charitable solicitor;
(E) A charitable solicitor shall not be permitted to make or cause to be made any loud noise to attract attention or for any other purpose;
(F) All charitable events shall abide by the Town sign regulations, including the size and placement of miscellaneous yard signs and temporary signs for the event;
(G) The area devoted to the charitable event shall be cleaned completely of trash, rubbish and other related debris and materials within two days of the conclusion of the charitable event.
