The Code Compliance Officer or a person designated by the Town Administrator shall have the right to disapprove any application for a charitable solicitor’s permit for the following reasons:
(A) If the applicant does not meet the definition of charitable solicitor as provided for in these regulations;
(B) If the applicant or others named in the application have been previously convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor;
(C) If the Town has not been able to confirm the authenticity of the organization or the address;
(D) If the applicant proposes to sell items or goods for human consumption and has not received approval from the Shelby County Health Department;
(E) If the applicant has given false information on the application;
(F) If the application has violated the terms of this chapter or of the Town ordinances regulating peddlers;
(G) If the applicant’s site is inadequate to accommodate the proposed charitable event or activity.
