All full-time employees of the Village, as well as part-time employees qualified under Section 249.08, shall receive compensation for the performance of jury duty. The compensation so paid shall be equal to the difference between the compensation which the employee actually receives from the court for jury duty and the compensation which the employee would have been entitled to receive from the Village for work which he or she was precluded from engaging in because of the performance of his or her jury duty.
