EDITOR'S NOTE: This chapter was formerly titled "Water Department." Ordinance 1311, passed May 28, 1996, combined the Water Department and the Wastewater Department (see Chapter 243) into one department, to be known as the Public Utilities Department, to be administered by the Director of Public Utilities. References throughout these Codified Ordinances to the Water Department shall be deemed to mean the Public Utilities Department. Ordinance 1328, passed April 14, 1997, abolished the position of Public Utilities Director.
