Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of §§ 96.01 through 96.05 of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment in jail for a period of not to exceed fifty (50) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
